DESCRIPTION:The 2nd annual Taste of the Underground announces lineup!\n\n3 days of music & local food to compliment your Bluegrass Underground experience in downtown McMinnville at the Park Theater! \n\nFOOD & DRINK INCLUDED IN TICKET PRICE. Over 21 receives a stainless steel commemorative cup for tastings.\n\nMarch 24th- 3-5pm-Funky Friday: Welcome to the Park- DeRobert & the Half Truths from Nashville will bring their funk sounds to the Park Theater. Also featured are tastings from Depot Bottom Brewery and BBQ along with all the fixins' to get the excitement flowing for the weekend ahead.\n\n \n\nMarch 25th- 6-11pm: Battle Saturday- A mix of openers\, including Magnolia Wind from Nashville and local talent Tanner Hillis will kick off the music for the night. The Battle of the Chefs will return to the Park\, including the local tasting menu on W Main Street and tastings from Calfkiller Brewery and Short Mountain Distillery. The nationwide Battle of the Bands to win a spot on Bluegrass Underground will round out the night. The finalists include The Broadcast from Asheville\, NC and Daniel Lawrence Walker from Nashville\, TN.\n\n \n\nMarch 26th- 9:30-11:30am- Brunch & Bluegrass- Includes a bluegrass performance by the ETSU Pride Bluegrass Band along with a Bloody Mary bar\, courtesy of Short Mountain Distillery\, and a loaded biscuit bar to debut a new\, top-secret breakfast-themed restaurant opening on W Main St.\n\n \n\nTickets are available here.
