DESCRIPTION:The Hope Center of Warren County in cooperation with the UCCCY\, DCS and other community organizations is hosting a free seminar and lunch during Child Abuse Awareness month. Sadly\, many have suffered adverse experiences in their youth. Experts have proved that these experiences directly affect our health and well-being long into adulthood. What then? What help is there after already experiencing divorce\, substance abuse and all of the adversity so common today? In an effort to inform the community of the problems and issues as a result of experiencing the 10 most common ACEs as well as present solutions\, this seminar will detail the affects of adverse childhood experiences\, and will also feature a resource panel of experts who will be available to discuss solutions. The resource panel will be available to address questions and answers\, and offer ways to aid resiliency. Information tables from various organizations will be in place. Everyone invited.
